Cemetery & Parks Meeting

The meeting was opened at 7:01PM present were, Ray Boyes, Tubby Boucher, John Barrett, Roger Rapoza, Pam Haman and Drew Funk

Minutes from the June meeting were approved.
Bills were reviewed and signed.
Deeds were approved and signed.

Superintendents Report:
More work has been on the Gazebo.
The common sidewalk areas that have cracks are now being repaired and filled in.
Sue Greenough notified the department that she was missing cemetery flowers from her lot. Roger told Sue that he would be sure that the workers were vigilant in watching the cemetery during work hours. Unfortunately there was little he or the department could do during off hours.
The letter for the Town Hall regarding the expectations of the cemetery and parks while maintaining town properties was reviewed and additional changes were made.
Riverside Expansion: the grading in the new section has been done. Roger will wait for cooler weather before planting grass.
A “Request Box “with a form has been placed on Avenue 9. Hopefully people will use this to alert the department of work that might need to be done or any pending problems/concerns.
